THEFT, robbery and burglary were the crimes this month that saw criminals across the county jailed.
Here are their names and their crimes:
Lee Mellinger
The 25-year-old, of Lamberts Croft, Greenleys, Milton Keynes, was convicted of robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place in Milton Keynes.
A Thames Valley Police investigation into the robbery, which took place at MK Food & Wine in Windsor Street, Milton Keynes, led to him being sentenced to eight and a half years’ imprisonment at Aylesbury Crown Court after he pleaded guilty to the offences.
It was just before 9am on October 5 last year when Mellinger entered the MK Food & Wine store.
He approached the counter and produced a knife, threatening a staff member and demanding money.

He told the victim, a woman aged in her fifties, that if she called the police, he would return to the shop.
Bravely, the victim refused to heed to Mellinger’s demands and told him to leave, but Mellinger went to the back of the till, still wielding his knife, and eventually got away with £20 before fleeing.
Helen Dubery, 57, and Mark Dubery, 62
Both defendants, of Hurst Lane, Egham, were sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court.
Helen Dubery was sentenced to a total of five and a half years’ imprisonment and Mark Dubery was sentenced to a total of two and a half years’ imprisonment.
At a trial at the same court lasting 12 days, Helen Dubery was found guilty by unanimous jury of two counts of fraud and four counts of theft.
Mark Dubery was found guilty by unanimous jury of two counts of theft. He was found not guilty of one count of theft.

The sentencing relates to incidents that occurred between February 2012 and March 2017 where Helen Dubery applied for a loan and bank account in the victim’s name.
The offenders then stole over £170,000 from the victim’s bank account.
Helen Dubery also falsely sold the victim’s car and two rings.
Martin Cassidy
The 32-year-old, of Stanborough Avenue, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire was sentenced to two years, four months, three weeks and two days imprisonment’ after pleading guilty to one count each of burglary and theft.

On May 30 last year, Cassidy was seen to force his way into an address on Church Road, Iver Heath. A neighbour saw the burglary in progress and called the police.
As officers arrived, they saw a car driving away from the scene, and pursued it however the occupants stopped and ran away.
