Matt Bloomfield will become Wycombe Wanderers' new manager following the exit of Gareth Ainsworth to Queens Park Rangers.

The news was confirmed at 5pm on February 21, two days after QPR sacked previous boss Neil Critchley following a run of one win in 12 games.

Bloomfield re-joins the Chairboys following a four-month spell at Colchester United where he helped move the Essex-based team from 21st place to 18th.
