FROM beer bottles, a meat basket and beauty products being stolen to iPhones and doorbells being stolen, several different types of crimes have been heard in court so far this year.

Many of the incidents heard in Wycombe Magistrates’ Courts were sentenced with a fine but some ended up with a prison sentence.

Here are some of the cases heard this year to date:

Gan Bunce

The 44-year-old pleaded guilty to making cheques to himself from a stolen cheque book, stealing a total of £750.

Bunce, of Glenister Road in High Wycombe, was given a conditional discharge of 12 months.

Thomas Mason

The 36-year-old admitted stealing a basket full of meat costing £100 from a Co-operative retail store on January 7 this year.

Mason, of Orwell Drive in Aylesbury, was sentenced to 24 weeks in prison.

Michaela Almond

The 28-year-old was found guilty of stealing multiple pairs of shoes, to the value of £218, and bedding products, to the value of £122, from M&S on August 17 last year.

She was also found guilty of stealing beauty products, to the value of £164, from Home Sense.

Almond, of Ardenham Lane in Aylesbury, has been jailed for four months.

Richard Wright

The 38-year-old pleaded guilty to destroying an iPhone 13 to the value of £800 belonging to someone else.

Wright, of Highfield Road in Buckinghamshire, has been given a period of conditional discharge for six months and the victim has been compensated.

Farrukh Bashir

The 51-year-old pleaded guilty of breaking into M&S on High Street in Aylesbury on December 26 and stealing a collection of coats to an unknown value.

Bashir, of Whaddon Chase in Aylesbury, was fined £200.

Steven Doyle

The 35-year-old pleaded guilty to causing damage of an unknown value to an internal door belonging to someone else in Buckinghamshire.

Doyle, of no fixed abode, has been ordered to complete 25 days of rehabilitation activity.

Frankie Bruce

The 42-year-old was found guilty of destroying a doorbell costing £60 on January 11 this year.

Bruce, of Bryanston Avenue in Aylesbury, pleaded guilty to also using threatening, abusive or insulting words towards another person. For the doorbell he was fined £80 with court costs of £85.

For the threatening behaviour he was given a £120 fine.

Henry Allen

The 20-year-old was found guilty of trespassing into the bar at The Villiers Hotel and stealing bottles of beer to an unknown value.

Allen, of Elm Street in Buckingham, was fined £365.
