POLICE helicopter rushed to Buckinghamshire after a stolen SUV was spotted by roadside cameras.
The police were alerted after a stolen Volvo SUV was captured by an automatic number plate camera in Chesham yesterday afternoon (February 9).
The officers then spotted the car around 3pm on Sunningdale Road.
The male driver tried to take off, but he was blocked by the police car.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “Two of the occupants fled the scene but officers arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle. He remains in police custody.
“The vehicle is believed to be linked to a burglary in Hampshire Constabulary’s force area so the suspect will be transferred there.”
