POLICE have launched an investigation after thieves targeted a residential road in Buckinghamshire.
Thames Valley Police was alerted after thieves targeted a parked vehicle on Greenway in Chesham in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The incident happened around at 4am on February 4.
The force said: “An investigation into this is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting reference 43230052293.”

- Always lock the doors
- Close windows and the sunroof to prevent ‘fishing’
- Secure the number plates with tamper-resistant screws
- Fit locking, anti-tamper wheel nuts to secure alloy wheels
- Secure anything that’s on the outside of the vehicle
- Take items with you or hide them
- Hide electrical items and leave no clues
- Use property marking systems on tools, use a lockable tool cabinet or install a small camera inside a van
- Park in well-lit and busier areas
- Take important documents with you
- Choose parking wisely to discourage catalytic converter theft
