A man who was described as ‘lost and confused’ after he was seen knocking on the doors of people’s houses has been found ‘safe and well’.
At around 10.30pm on Sunday, February 5, officers received a report from a member of the public that at 6.30pm earlier that day, a man had turned up at their house ‘not dressed for the weather’.

The man had been described as being in his 70s, around 6ft tall, with grey hair, wearing a blue jacket, black jumper wearing gloves and had an umbrella tucked into his trousers in the Haversham area of Milton Keynes.
Thankfully, after a search was conducted, officers were able to find the missing person.

Thames Valley Police said: “Following further investigation and a public appeal, information was received, officers have now managed to trace the man and he is safe and well.
“We would like to thank the public for their assistance in helping us check he was okay.”
