A CAR dealership has revealed its plans for the former Perry’s Ford site, including new jobs.
The car dealer group Citygate announced it was taking over the former Perry’s Ford site on London Road in High Wycombe.
The announcement comes after the closure of Perry’s Ford in October last year.
Citygate was awarded the Kia franchise in High Wycombe after the exit of the former Kia retailer WLMG.
The company said re-fitting for the new Kia dealership on Desborough Avenue was almost complete, and Citygate expected trading to begin on February 6.
Citygate’s CEO Jonathan Smith said: “As we start the New Year, we are delighted to further strengthen our relationship with Kia with this strategic acquisition in High Wycombe, which complements our Volkswagen presence in the town and builds on our portfolio. 2023 will be all about continuing to deliver excellence and value to our customers and working closely with our brand partners, so we anticipate an exciting year for the business.”

The company was “always looking for talented individuals to join us,” Citygate’s group head of people Morag Norwood said.
Job vacancies and upcoming job events are available on Citygate’s careers website.
The former Perry's Ford site is located almost opposite Citygate's existing Volkswagen site.
The London Road site appeared to be undergoing fit-out work for the new owner on February 6. Construction staff wearing hi-vis were seen indoors, while a line of Kia cars and a skip were stationed outside.
