If you’re looking for a romantic dinner for two, there’s a whole range of options right here in Bucks for a memorable night that won’t set you back too much.
Twice Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar is serving up a range of dishes across his four Buckinghamshire-based restaurants at have been specially curated for an unforgettable Valentine’s Day experience.
Riwaz, Beaconsfield
This restaurant is offering a 7-course menu starting at £69pp and is celebrating the history and culture of Indian food with dishes including Kekda West Coast Crab Cake served with Green Chilli Mayo.
Residents can catch the singer Ollie Wade playing a live set while they enjoy the Valentine’s Early Bird menu, at £49pp, available from February 10.
Vaasu, Marlow
Located in the gourmet town of Marlow, couples can enjoy Atul Kochhar’s specialty, Pan-Indian cuisine.
This menu will also set you back at £69pp and diners can expect to find Reshmi Seekh Kebab with apple chutney and rice bhel, with vegetarian, vegan and pescetarian options also available. There is also an Early Bird Menu, priced at £49pp, available from February 10.
Hawkyns, Amersham
For a slight change of pace, head over to Hawkyns in Amersham, where the 7-course Valentine’s menu will set you back £69pp for specialties including Lake District Aged Lamb served with purple sprouting broccoli, sweet potato and Kashmiri gravy. Hawkyns also offers non-meat alternatives and has an Early Bird menu from February 10.
Sindhu by Atul Kochhar, Marlow
Another offering from gastronomic Marlow is Kochhar’s Sindhu restaurant, which pays tribute to Southern Indian cooking and looks out on the scenic River Thames. Standouts from the 7-course menu, set at £79pp, include Turbot & Mussels in a Keralan Seafood Moilee with purple sprouting broccoli.
Each of Atul Kochhar’s restaurants also offers a wine pairing menu, priced between £49 to £51pp for Valentine’s Day and at £35 for Early Bird.
