CONCERNED residents feared for a Muntjac deer after it was spotted standing still next to a busy train station.
The wild deer was seen in Amersham at around 8am on Wednedsay, February 1.
A passer-by felt worried for the deer as it was stood "motionless while everyone walked past" during the morning rush-hour.
Will Catlin-Hallett said: “It was just standing there motionless while everyone walked past to the station.
"I thought it a bit odd because it had plenty of space behind it to run away, although, to be fair, I don’t know if it can get out that way.
"Maybe it was just waiting for everyone to go so it could run off elsewhere."
Mr Catlin-Hallet shared his concerns to a local Facebook group in the hope residents would look out for the Muntjac.
"I put the post up in the hope that people would look out for it if it was still around later, just in case it wasn’t okay.", she added.
