A NEW zoo revealed what animals it will have when it opens later this year.
Wildway Wildlife Mini Zoo shared more details about its future inhabitants ahead of its grand opening in May on the outskirts of Cookham.
The family attraction's CEO and director Connor Clegg remained tight lipped about the site’s exact location, which wasn’t currently available to the public amid on-going building works.
He said: “Currently we haven’t announced all the animals that will be at the zoo, you can expect to see our meerkats, cuban hutia (the only ones in a UK zoo), Brown wood owl and many more!
“It’s been a long two years in the making, we are truly excited to welcome guests in May to our first visitor attraction.

“Our goal and mission is to connect locals with the natural world and create unforgettable memories.”
Now the zoo has reached out to the community for a chance to volunteer with the animals for a limited number of individuals.
