THE POLICE have launched an arson investigation after car blaze in the early hours of the morning in Buckinghamshire.
The residents of Brockhurst Road in Chesham got a rude awakening on Wednesday January 25, when a car was set on fire around 5.30am.
By the time the firefighters arrived, the car was well alight.
Thames Valley Fire Control Service received “multiple” calls from concerned residents, Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
One appliance and crew from Hertfordshire attended the scene.
Now Thames Valley Police are investigating the incident as suspected arson.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Thames Valley Police is investigating a suspected arson following an incident of car being set on fire in Brockhurst Road, Chesham at around 5.30am on 25 January.”
