A POPULAR Buckinghamshire town on River Thames has something for everyone when it comes to dream homes.
Whether on the lookout for the forever home, to flip a house that has seen its better days, or just window shopping for ideas, many are turning their eyes on Marlow.
Marlow’s perks include its riverside location, restaurants and shops, and proximity to London and the Chiltern Hills to name a few – alongside its mix of houses ranging from new build flats by the river to period homes.
Here are three properties currently on the market in the historic market town for different budgets.
Oxford Road
This two-bedroom Victorian house is up for grabs for a £550,000 guide price, but it is in need of more than just paint.
But with some work inside and in the private garden, it could be turned into a dream home.
Overall Marlow properties had an average price of £811,010 last year, while terraced houses sold for an average of £536,899, according to Rightmove data.
The home boasts a living room, dining room, kitchen, storage room accessed from outside, and two bedrooms and a family bathroom upstairs.
The garden includs a greenhouse, a shed, garage and mature trees.

Station Road
This four-bedroom and two-bathroom period townhouse is in “turn key condition”, and likely to appeal to a wide audience, Savills property agent Alex Reid said.
Its current owners have carried out renovations recently using neutral tones and taking advantage of the natural light.
The modern ground-floor kitchen opens to the rear garden and terrace, and the bedrooms are located across first and second floor, including one with en suite shower.
The guide price of £795,000 sits just below the town overall average property price.
Frieth Road
The five-bedroom detached Bovingdon Cottage in the village of Bovingdon Green is up for sale for £2.85 million.
This sets the house above the Marlow average price of £1.2 million for detached homes last year, according to Rightmove.
Visitors to the cottage dating back to early 1900s are greeted by the period flint exterior with mature wisteria climbing up the walls, followed by a modern design inside, including fitted storage, underfloor heating in the kitchen and skylight windows.
The ready to move in home with its large garden has a “perfect position for town and country,” Savills estate agent Richard Maby said.
