AN ACTRESS from Buckinghamshire is taking her one-woman show to a London theatre festival.
Little Chalfont born and raised Charlotte Gallagher and her show Char Char – Witchy is set to take the stage at VAULT festival in London from February 10 to 12.
VAULT is dubbed as London's biggest fringe art festival featuring theatre, cabaret, comedy, immersive experiences and late night shows.
The 35-year-old performer’s third stand up theatre show is said to be a funny, feminist and semi-autobiographical exploration of spirituality, cults, and tackling misogyny.
Charlotte, who returned to Amersham in 2020 after stints in London and Ireland, was excited about the breadth of work at the festival, she said.
She added: “It’s going to be great and I feel honoured to be part of London’s leading showcase of live performance talent.
"It’s joyful and important to create cultural events that support emerging and upcoming artists - especially at a time when our Arts budget is being cut.”
