A HOME was targeted by thieves in Buckinghamshire last week.
The police were alerted after an attempted burglary on Elizabeth Avenue in Little Chalfont.
The incident happened on Thursday around 6.50pm, when the thieves allegedly targeted a family home, a worried resident of Elizabeth Avenue, who asked not to be named, said.
They added: “The general public around here are concerned. They’re our neighbours.
“It’s not much of a welcome to Little Chalfont!”
Thames Valley Police confirmed that “an investigation was ongoing.”

The force said: “Anyone with information can contact police by calling 101 or making a report online, quoting reference 43230028555.”
In November, the spike in burglaries in the Amersham and Little Chalfont area prompted the police to warn resident to “review security at the rear of your property and look out for your neighbours.”
