TV science presenter and mathematician Hannah Fry visited a school in High Wycombe as part of their national teacher recruitnment campaign. 

The professor famous for her show Magic Numbers on BBC Two, visited Wycombe High School on Wedneday, January 18, to present a rescruitment video. 

The campaign is led by Wycombe High and the National Mathematics and Physics teacher training organisation (NMAPS), which is based at the school.

Hannah was presenting a new teacher recruitment video which was filmed and produced by students from Wycombe High TV, Britain’s only student-led school TV channel.

As well as filming the video, Hannah was also made an Honorary Member of the Wycombe High School Alumnae Guild.

Wycombe High School Headteacher Nicola Renyard said: “Hannah was absolutely lovely and all the students, as well as the staff, were thrilled to meet her.

"We also owe Hannah a big ‘thank you’ for helping to recruit the next generation of Maths and Physics teachers who are so vitally needed in schools around the country.”
