AN ATHLETICS track could soon be revamped to include five football pitches if planning officers give the go-ahead.
This is just one of the many applications submitted to Buckinghamshire Council in the past seven days.

A former care home could be knocked down for new homes at Austenwood Lane, Chalfont St Peter (PL/22/4226/FA).
Applicant Oakford Homes wants to demolish the vacant Rock House in order to erect 10 houses and two detached carports.
The 2.5-storey care home closed after it no longer met the standards required to achieve car quality commission compliance and the decline of residency.
The terraced homes, which are proposed to be a mix of three and four bedrooms, could be arranged in an inverted ‘L’ shaped layout.
Twenty-two car parking spaces are also proposed and a new single vehicular access point from Criss Grove.
However, this was a concern for one local resident, who objected to the scheme and believed the shortage in parking bays could potentially increase on-street parking and will have a negative impact on homeowners.
They wrote: “The number of car parking spaces for each house varies from one or two.
“Considering that the majority of family houses own two vehicles, without the addition of visitors, the car parking spaces allocated would not be enough to accommodate. Criss Grove is a narrow street, with limited on-street parking available.”
Planning officers are yet to decide on the scheme.
An athletics track could see five football pitches added at Marlow Road, Little Marlow (22/08176/FUL).
Brenard Leisure wants to transform land east of the Little Marlow Athletics Track, which was used for gravel extraction, to form five grass football pitches with goal posts and ground markings.
The pitches will be made available for community and club use. The applicant is also in talks with local football teams and clubs that could use it for training and matches.
No floodlighting, seating, changing, clubhouse, or other buildings/structures are proposed as part of this planning application.
The applicant is also applying to keep the Athletics Track, associated structures, and the 214-spaced car park.
Planning officers are yet to decide on the application.
Five homes could be erected on land off Sandy Lane, Long Crendon (22/04141/APP).
Aylesbury Vale Council has applied to build five properties, consisting of one three-bed, two four-beds, and two five-bedroom detached properties.
A new vehicular access could be formed through the existing retaining wall on the west side of Sandys Lane, providing vision splays and a footpath to the north and south.
A footpath will also run north, through the site, and between numbers 63 and 65 Bicester Road to link with the footway on the main road.
“The proposed dwellings will be of a high-quality design, and the scheme maximises the efficient use of the land whilst responding to the positive features of this specific location,” the planning statement read.
Planning officers are yet to decide on the application.
