A historical high street pub in Buckinghamshire has been featured in a popular annual beer guide.
Based in Old Amersham High Street, The Elephant and Castle was named in this year’s Good Beer Guide by CAMRA, the campaigning and consumer organisation for pubs and beer drinkers.
The popular Old Amersham pub was one of 14 entries from two counties and hundreds of pubs in CAMRA’s beer and pub guide featuring 4,500 establishments across UK serving real-ale.
The pub’s general manager Colin Dixon said: “It is an honour for our wonderful pub to be featured in CAMRA’s good beer guide and recognised for our amazing offering of real ale.
“To be selected as one of the final fourteen pubs in our county is amazing.
"We provide the best real ales for our customers and look forward to welcoming guests on the hunt for real ales.”
The Elephant and Castle was a fantastic pub and champion of cask-conditioned real ale, the Mid-Chilterns CAMRA commented.
Beer fans can enjoy brands such as Doom Bar, Theakstons Best Bitter, Rebellion IPA and Tring Brewery Brock Bitter, in addition to delicious food surrounded by log fires.
