Visitors can learn all about life in Amersham and the surrounding areas through the collection of local historical treasures housed in the Grade II listed, 15th century half-timbered house on High Steet in Old Amersham.
Su Chases Interiors building
The historic building, which was once the home of the interior designer Su and her family, now houses furniture, lighting, home furnishings, accessories and gifts across three stories.
In 2010 the building was painted in pale pink, which in 2021 had changed to light blue.
Memorial Gardens
The Memorial Gardens and The Peace Garden in Old Amersham is said to be the centrepiece of the award-winning Amersham in Bloom and the efforts of its army of volunteers.

As well as commemorating those who lost their lives in both World Wars, the Gardens host concerts and events in the summer.
Metropolitan train
The replica of an old Metropolitan Railway steam train first appeared in September 2021.
A two-year project by Amersham Town Council and the 1st Chesham Bois Scouts culminated when the replica train was installed on train tracks on the grass verge – a nod to the historical railway line.
