A Marlow beauty business has been shortlisted for an industry award.
The Marlow- based beauty and hair studio The Brash Collective run by Stephanie Harris is in the finals of the UK Hair and Beauty Awards 2023 after making the coveted shortlist.
The recognition in the Best Brows and Rising Start categories comes after a “tough” start to the small business in the middle of the Covid pandemic.
Stephanie said: “I feel so so proud to be nominated.
“When I started two years ago I had a tough start with lockdowns and then maternity leave, but this is a dream I didn't think would happen so soon.”
She retrained during the pandemic to get out of her nine to five job, and she now works out of her home studio in Marlow.
The winners will be revealed at a red carpet event in April in Birmingham hosted by previous winners Duncan James and Jake Quickenden.
Every year, the awards celebrates the UK hair and beauty industry, which was estimated to bring more than £7.5 billion to the UK economy in 2017 according to the beauty industry association NHBF.
