Three Buckinghamshire businesses have been named the "best of the best" in their field at a national awards competition.

The inaugural national Muddy Stilettos Awards 2022 had 27 different categories with three local businesses winning their group.

Earlier this year, 765,000 readers voted for their favourite businesses in the women’s lifestyle website's ninth edition of its regional awards.

In November, 135 national finalists were announced and after deliberation between Hero Brown, founder and Editor-in-chief of Muddy Stilettos, and her regional editors the winners were announced.

Pluma in Amersham was crowned the country's best restaurant, The Barn Kitchen in Great Missenden picked up the award for best cafe, whilst The Dairy at Waddesdon Manor was named the best wedding venue in the UK.

Hero Brown said: “I set up the Muddy Stilettos Awards nine years ago to give local, lifestyle businesses a chance to shout about how brilliant they are.
