Wycombe Wanderers and Buckinghamshire New University have reignited their connection with a new three-year partnership.

Confirmed on December 15, the collaboration will offer students a wide-range of educational benefits and jobs.

Buckinghamshire New University (also known as Bucks New Uni/BNU) becomes the Official Higher Education Partner of the football club, having previously sponsored the Chairboys' kit between the 2009/10 and 2010/11 seasons, along with the home terrace at Adams Park.

Rob Couhig, Chairman of Wycombe Wanderers, said: “I think it’s fantastic that two of the biggest institutions in High Wycombe and its surrounding areas have strengthened their relationship even further.

"I know there will be a significant mutual benefit for the club, the university, and everyone associated with the two.

“We are excited at the opportunity to engage with the students and provide them with the experience of working alongside our team.

The partnership kicked off with the university’s sponsorship of the recent family day fixture against Morecambe at Adams Park on October 29.

Some students are currently doing work at the club’s sports therapy department at the Marlow Road training ground, with casual employment opportunities also being made available in the stewarding and food beverage teams at Adams Park.

Professor Nick Braisby, Vice-Chancellor, of Buckinghamshire New University, said: “We’re delighted to formalise our long-standing relationship with Wycombe Wanderers.
