Snow has fallen in parts of Buckinghamshire as temperatures across the county continue to drop.
In the late hours of Sunday, December 11 to the early hours of Monday, December 12, snow fell in Aylesbury and its surrounding areas.
The weather across the town earlier that day had been misty with white skies being seen.
However, no snow was spotted until approximately 10.30pm on Sunday.

One eagled eye Twitter user, who stayed up late to witness the fall, said: “Snow is starting here in Aylesbury.

"I hope this doesn’t get knee high.”
This occurred on the same day a yellow weather warning was issued by the Met Office for ‘freezing fog’, which impacted several areas of the county.

Nationally, the weather caused numerous aviation issues in the south, as Stansted Airport confirmed on December 11 that all their flights would be cancelled due to the bad weather.
Snowed in at Stansted Airport. @Ryanair flight FR2328 to Madrid, due to depart at 19:55. Now 22:00. Pilot explains that weather has collapsed company comms, so struggling to confirm cancellation. And also that a hotel might not be covered? Hope that's not true. pic.twitter.com/hRpBVFnPT6

Heathrow Airport, which is partly based in South Buckinghamshire, has also seen some of its flights get delayed or suspended due to the snowy conditions.
This incredible approach into Heathrow today gave me a greater appreciation for my three hour delay. Low and dense freezing fog making mischief with the schedules 🥶 pic.twitter.com/XZN6zJyNYN
