POLICE are hunting for an 'erratic' van driver who rammed into a police car in Aylesbury on Wednesday.
The alarm was raised when a van was seen driving erratically on the A41 towards Waddesdon at around 10.45am on Wednesday, November 30.
When the van was spotted by Thames Valley Police officers, the driver first drove into the police car before reversing and ramming a police vehicle.
The driver of the white Ford Transit van with suspected cloned registration plates beginning with BD08 then fled the scene.
Investigating officer PC Emma Sawers at Aylesbury police station said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident, or anyone who was in the area and may have dashcam footage, to please come forward.
“Anyone with information can contact Thames Valley Police by calling 101 or making a report online, quoting reference 43220539172.
“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their website.”
