A 34-year-old man will spend the next four years behind bars after admitting to several drug crimes.

Devroy Hume, of Red Kite View, Calvert, within the Aylesbury Vale, pleaded guilty to one count each of being concerned in the supply of a controlled class A drug, namely cocaine and handling stolen goods.

Hume had also breached a previous suspended sentence, and was given his punishment on Wednesday, November 23 at Aylesbury Crown Court.

This came after officers executed a warrant at the home address of Hume under the Misuse of Drugs Act in May this year.

He was at the address and during the search in which weighing scales and a quantity of cocaine were discovered.

There was also a stolen Vitus mountain bike worth in the region of £1,200 at the property.

Subsequent enquires proved that the 34-year-old had been involved in the supply of cocaine since October 2020.

Investigating officer, PC James Gordon, of the Stronghold Team, based at Aylesbury police station, said: “I am pleased that the courts have handed a fitting sentence for the crimes committed by Devroy Hume, who had been involved in the supply of Cocaine for a long period of time.

“I hope this sentence with serve as a warning to those who seek to involve themselves in the supply of controlled drugs, and the Aylesbury Stronghold team will work tirelessly to ensure these criminals are dealt with robustly.”
