A woman was sentenced for drink-driving on Monday after crashing into a tree.
High Wycombe Magistrate’s Court heard on Monday (November 21) how Lucy Goldrick, 40, of Newtown Road in Denham, had driven her car into a tree on Woodlands Hill in Beaconsfield.
Eyewitnesses alerted the police to the incident at around 4.15am on February 12, where Ms Goldrick was found on the driver’s seat with keys in the ignition and engine still running.
TVP’s Investigating officer PC George Ward from the Amersham Police Station said: “There are no excuses for drink-driving and I am pleased to see that Lucy Goldrick has received a disqualification for this offence”.
