An 11-year-old boy suffered a head injury after a driver failed to stop in Aylesbury yesterday.
Thames Valley Police appealed for witnesses to the collision at 4.10pm on November 24 on Ellen Road.
The driver of a small red car failed to stop, and hit the 11-year-old pedestrian, who was taken to hospital with a head injury.
TVP’s Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit’s Investigating officer PC Colin Riley said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed what happened to please come forward.

“As a result of the collision, the front nearside light was broken and so we would ask anyone who sees, or who may have seen, this vehicle to please report this to us.
"Additonally, if anyone may have dash-cam footage that may help our investigation, please get in touch.”
