Wycombe Wanderers manager Gareth Ainsworth has visited the One Can Trust charity this week to see the good work the cause does around the town.
The charitable organisation specialises in collecting long-lasting tinned and canned goods to help those in the area and beyond receive food.
So far this month, the foodbank is currently aiding 700 people a week with approximately 350 of those being children.

This has dropped down from 800 people in October but prior to the pandemic, this number was 200.
Ainsworth said: “I take my hat off to them.
“It’s not just about the food being donated or the food being delivered, they also give care over the phone now and they are all volunteers too.
“They are amazing people and I will be donating a hell of a lot more because they need it.”
Kate Brewster, the trustee from the charity, said: "It was a pleasure to welcome Gareth to One Can earlier this week [November 22].

“He spent a long time meeting staff and volunteers, finding out about the work we do to support vulnerable local people.
“We feel lucky to have him as our ambassador and also grateful to Wycombe Wanderers for their ongoing support."
Finally, Henry, who also visit the warehouse, added: "It was awesome meeting Gareth.
"I liked talking about football and telling him about being a street hero. The warehouse was big and everyone was so nice.
"I really want to help there one day and when I’m 17 I will help to drive the food parcels to people."
