A WARNING has been issued to tenants living in housing association properties about a scam call they shouldn't be answering.
Buckinghamshire's Trading Standards has issued a warning about a scam call to residents, claiming to be from the Housing Disrepair Team.
They're calling to say they're dealing with repairs in housing association and rented properties, asking about damp and mould.
Trading Standards said this is 'not a genuine call'.
They wrote on social media: "Reports of calls from the "Housing Disrepair Team" claiming to deal with repairs in housing association/rented properties and asking about damp and mould. This is not a genuine call!
"Only discuss or report repairs to your own housing association or landlord."
