Former Wycombe Wanderers youth team player Matthew Cash will start in Poland’s opening World Cup match against Mexico.
The fixture, which will kick off at 4pm in the UK on November 22, will see the ex-Chairboy start as a right-wing back, donning the number two shirt.
Cash spent two years in the Wanderers youth setup but was released at the conclusion of the 2011/12 season, aged 14.

This was due to the club’s decision to disband its youth system following significant financial issues, leaving them to be the only Football League team at the time not to have an academy.
After leaving the Adams Park team, Cash became part of the FAB Academy for the 2013/14 season, before joining Nottingham Forest.
Released by Wycombe at 14 and working part time in retail while he played in the FAB academy, Matty Cash has now signed for @AVFCOfficial for £14 million.
