A business in High Wycombe has been named the UK’s best food and drink company to work for.

RH Amar, which is based on Turnpike Way, supplies more than 30 food brands to supermarkets, cash and carries, wholesale groups, restaurants, and independent retailers.

And following their brilliant work in the last 12 months, they have been crowned as the country’s best food and drink company to work for at a recent awards ceremony.

And as well as topping the Food & Drink list, RH Amar also secured a place in the UK’s Top 50 Best Mid-Size Companies to Work For, along with the South East’s Top 25 Best Companies To Work For lists.

RH Amar was commended by Best Companies for donating 10 per cent of its profits each year to charity, which has totalled up to nearly £2m in the last nine years, with the causes being chosen by the company’s colleagues.

RH Amar also offers all colleagues the opportunity to volunteer at a charity of their choice for one day each year.
