A woman was threatened by armed men during a suspected theft last week.
The Wooburn Green resident was alerted at 11pm on November 16, when four men armed with baseball bats tried to get hold of the valuable parts of her car parked on Boundary Road.
Before stealing the catalytic converter and speeding off, the thieves “threatened” the victim with the bats, the victim said.
The woman recalled the shocking attack: “When we rushed out to confront them, they threatened us with the bats and smashed our car windscreen and wing mirror to scare us off.”
