Flooding on M40 causing 'severe' 30 minute delays (Image: Highways England)
DRIVERS are facing delays of up to 30 minutes due to flooding on the M40 motorway this lunchtime.
There are severe delays and queueing traffic for eight miles due to earlier flooding on M40 Southbound from J5 A40 Ibstone Road (Stokenchurch) to J4 A404 (High Wycombe Handy Cross Roundabout).
Highways England said all lanes are now open on the M40 southbound between Junction 5, Stokenchurch and Junction 4,HighWycombe.
There are delays of about half an hour remain but it is easing now.
