HIGH Wycombe's annual Christmas lights switch-on event will take place this year on Thursday, November 17.
The 2022 edition of the ever-popular festive event will this year feature 'special guests', to get us all in the spirit before our attention turns to the Qatar World Cup.
The family event takes place in the Eden shopping centre from 3pm until 8pm, where there will be live performances on the High Street stage.

A Food Truck Market will offer tasty delicious dishes and there will be children’s funfair rides and entertainment with more than 25 Christmas fift stalls.
A cinderella parade led by Cinderella’s very own special carriage will be starting its journey at 5.30pm, departing from the high street, and slowly making its way down the High Street towards the Guildhall.
It will feature more than 100 ‘Prince’s’ and ‘Princesses’ from local schools.
The royal ensemble will be joined by the cast of The Swan Theatre pantomime, and will make their way round to Frogmoor for the Christmas light switch-on.

Meanwhile in Frogmoor, the main stage will be getting in the Christmas swing of things from 5.15pm, with performances from local dance, music and drama groups.
The switch-on ceremony takes place at 6.45pm when the Cinderella carriage arrives in Frogmoor.
