EMERGENCY services rushed to a crash involving a van and a car on Monday night (November 7).
Firefighters received reports of a crash in Cherry Acre, Chalfont St Peter at 8.21pm.
One man managed to get out of his car before emergency services arrived and was uninjured.
A Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "One appliance and crew from Amersham and one from Gerrads Cross attended a road traffic collision involving a van and a car.
"Firefighters used Hydraulic equipment and IEC pack to release and care for one adult male with injuries.
"The casualty was left in the car of South Central Ambulance Service. Thames Valley Police were also in attendance."
