Police were called to a fear for welfare incident after an elderly woman was found lying on the ground in Prestwood.
Officers closed off Peterely Lane at around 10:25pm as paramedics were also called to the scene.
The woman was checked over by the ambulance services and is now described as being "safe and well" with the incident now "resolved".
A Thames Valley Police (TVP) spokesperson said: "This was a fear for welfare for an elderly female who was located on the ground in the lane.
"She was checked over by ambulance service and is now safe and well and the matter has been resolved."
A social media post from TVP at the time said: "Peterley Lane in Prestwood is temporarily closed whilst officers and paramedics are dealing with an incident.
"Thank you for your patience."
