Thames Valley Police have launched an investigation after a dispersal order was issued in Flackwell Heath on Halloween night.
Officers were called to Straight Bit in the village at around 7.05pm on Monday, October 31) to a report of an assault and anti-social behaviour.
A woman in her thirties is said to have been pushed by "a large group of youths" whilst others witnessed fireworks being set off at the recreation ground and along the road.
Officers issued a Section 35 Dispersal Order which gives police the power to exclude people from the area for up to 48 hours.
Several police cars and riot vans were seen on the road as arrests were made for criminal damage and public order offences.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “We received a report of an assault and anti-social behaviour involving a large group of youths on Straight Bit, Flackwell Heath, at around 7.05pm last night (31/10).
“A woman in her thirties reported being pushed by the group but was not injured.
“Other members of the public reported the group were setting off fireworks in the recreation ground and along the road.

One eyewitness said: "I could hear a lot of fireworks going off. I had a look outside and there were loads of young kids, a large group of about 30. They were screaming.
"I shouted to a girl to ask 'are they throwing fireworks?' and she shouts 'yes, they are throwing them at us'.
"Another two girls shouted for me to call the police, I told them to run to the community garden at the community centre.
"Unfortunately sending them to the garden meant they were near the bus stop.
"About 30 youths got off the bus from Wycombe and looked like they were all trying to get into Sainsbury at once and were grouped outside."
Last year, police were also called to Straight Bit on Halloween (October 31) as fireworks were "fired at passing vehicles".
Officers seized a number of fireworks as well as issued two drugs warnings, completed a number of stop and searches and seized a scooter.
