HIGH Wycombe curry house Lounge India has scooped Regional Chef of the Year at the 2022 Bangladesh Caterers Association awards.

Head chef Enamul Haque has been crowned as the best regional curry chef for his delicious Indian food.

He said: “What an honour! I am delighted to win BCA’s Chef of the Year Award for our region. These Awards are so important, not only do they shine a light on great talent in this industry, but these Awards celebrate the best of local talent.

"We look forward to serving and seeing our customers.”

Now in its 16th year, the Bangladesh Caterers Association (BCA) held its annual awards night on October 30, celebrating the best chefs in the industry.

TV chef and celebrity Greg Wallace MBE and Tasmin Lucia-Khan were the hosts of ceremony, which took place at the Park Plaza, London.

This year’s theme for the awards is ‘Celebrating Success & Inspiring Others’, a theme that is close to the heart and mission of BCA.

President of the Bangladesh Caterers Association M.A. Munim said: “It is such a proud and inspiring moment for BCA to be able to recognise these exceptional chefs, who are the best talent from within our industry.
