A number of arrests were made last night in Flackwell Heath as a large police presence descended on the village.
Officers issued a Section 35 Dispersal Order which gave officers the power to exclude people from the area for up to 48 hours.
Several police cars and riot vans were seen on Straight Bit at around 7:30pm last night (October 31) as arrests were made for criminal damage and public order offences.
One eyewitness, who ran the police and wanted to stay anonymous, claimed that fireworks were being thrown in the direction of other people.
They said: "I could hear a lot of fireworks going off. I had a look outside and there were loads of young kids, a large group of about 30. They were screaming.
"I shouted to a girl to ask 'are they throwing fireworks?' and she shouts 'yes, they are throwing them at us'.
"Another two girls shouted for me to call the police, I told them to run to the community garden at the community centre.
"Unfortunately sending them to the garden meant they were near the bus stop.
"About 30 youths got off the bus from Wycombe and looked like they were all trying to get into Sainsbury at once and were grouped outside."
A Thames Valley Police social media post said: "As a result of anti-social behaviour this evening in Flackwell Heath, a Section 35 Dispersal Order was issued which gave officers the power to exclude people from the area for up to 48 hours.
"Several arrests were made for criminal damage and public order."
Last year, police were also called to Straight Bit on Halloween (October 31) as fireworks were "fired at passing vehicles".
Officers seized a number of fireworks as well as issued two drugs warnings, completed a number of stop and searches and seized a scooter.
