Drivers were warned of severe delays on M40 following a collision in the early hours of Monday morning.
Emergency repairs are ongoing on M40 between Junction 6 in Lewknor and Junction 5 in Stokenchurch after the central reservation was destroyed in a crash today.
Traffic was building up both ways after two lanes remain closed southbound, and one lane is closed northbound.
Drivers faced a 90-minute delay south, and 20 minutes for those heading north, National Highways warned at around 10am
Travellers were told to allow extra time and consider other routes to avoid the crash site.

All lanes were re-opened after emergency works were completed at around 12 noon.
