A WOMAN in her 20s was pulled into a car in an attempted kidnapping.
Police received a report of a kidnapping at 12.30am on Friday, October 28, of a woman in her 20s being pulled into a white BMW car.
The incident happened along Taylor Road, Aylesbury, when the passenger spotted her and offered a lift.
The woman declined but then the front seat passenger got out and tried to pull the victim into the car.
Police said she managed to get away.
The offender is described as a tall, black man wearing a white t-shirt.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Mark Banham, based at Aylesbury police station, said: “We are carrying out a thorough investigation into what happened and don’t believe there to be a wider risk to the community.
“We’re appealing to anyone who may have witnessed what happened to please come forward.
“If anyone has information, please call 101 or make a report online, quoting reference 43220484622.
“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
