A WOMAN had to be rescued from a house fire in High Wycombe yesterday.
Firefighters rushed to Plomer Hill on Wednesday, October 26 responding to reports of a bathroom on fire.
Crews from High Wycombe, Beaconsfield and Amersham attended the scene at 5am.
A spokesman from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue said: "A fire was in progress, in the first-floor bathroom of a two-storey house, when they arrived.

"The firefighters rescued one woman, who was treated with oxygen therapy for the effects of breathing in smoke."
Firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, a positive pressure ventilation fan, small tools and a thermal imaging camera.
Thames Valley Police and South Central Ambulance Service also attended.
