A CAR has been destroyed after catching fire near Stokenchurch on Monday morning (October 24).
Crews from Watlington Fire Station were called to a road between Stokenchurch and Watlington in the early hours of Monday morning.
A Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were sent to the scene using the high-pressure hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and stop it spreading into nearby foliage.
"Nobody was hurt as a result of the fire."
