A MAN has been jailed after threatening somene with a knife and throwing a plant pot through a window.
Michael Fitzgerald, of Argyle Avenue, Aylesbury, admitted the offences that happened on April 15.
The 32 year old pleaded guilty after turning up to a property in Redcliff Walk, Aylesbury, and throwing items before trying to force open the front door.
He then threatened one of the occupants with a knife, before throwing a plant pot through the window causing it to break.
Fitzgerald pleaded guilty to one count each of affray, possession of a bladed article in a public place, and criminal damage.
He was sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court on Tuesday, October 11.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Annabel Wilmot, based at Aylesbury police station, said: “I am pleased we have secured this result and Fitzgerald will now have time in prison to reflect on his actions.
“Thames Valley Police will not tolerate crimes of this nature and will work relentlessly to put offenders in front of the courts.”
