POLICE are hunting a masked man who grabbed a young teenager by the neck and stole his phone as he sat on a park bench.
Thames Valley Police said the victim, a boy in his teens, was attacked on Saturday, October 8, in Western Road Recreation Park, Wolverton.
It happened about 3.15pm when the offender, dressed in a black balaclava, approached the bench the boy was sat on.
They sat beside the victim and snatched his mobile phone, then grabbed the victim's neck before letting go and running off towards Wolverton swimming pool.
The victim was not injured.
Officers said the offender is described as a black man, around 5ft 10ins tall and of a slim build. He is believed to be in his late teens to early twenties and was wearing a black balaclava, black clothing and black trainers.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Laura Smith, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “We would like to appeal to anybody who may have witnessed this incident or have CCTV or dash-cam footage in the area to please get in touch.
