A team of first aiders are hosting a life-saving event after they noticed many people lacked emergency skills.
Samantha Cameron, a registered emergency care nurse and fitness enthusiast, is one of the organisers of the big CPR day and charity fun event 'Restart a heart day' supporting British Heart Foundation on Sunday October 16 in High Wycombe.
Her experiences in emergency care led her to want to give others the knowledge and confidence to act in a life threatening situation.

Ms Cameron said: “I used to work in the local Accident and Emergency department, and looked after many relatives who had lost their loved one to a cardiac arrest.
“They would tell me they felt absolutely helpless as they didn’t know what to do when their loved one collapsed.
“A lot of relatives hadn't known how to do CPR and certainly didn’t know what a defibrillator was or that it could shock a heart back into a rhythm compatible with life.
“They would say, ‘If only I knew how to help, the outcome could have been so different’.”
The CPR workshop day at Kingsmead netball centre on Fennels Road runs from 10am to 4pm.
Alongside defibrillator and CPR training the fun day includes a dance performance from Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalists, obstacle course, netball tournament, food and drink, face painting and much more.
