DETECTIVES are carrying on with their investigation after a man was attacked and punched in the head in High Wycombe town centre.
Police said officers received a report at about 3.20am on Friday, September 23, of a fight involving three men who left Trilogy nightclub.
A man in his 40s was involved in a fight and was punched in the head, which caused him to fall and hit his head on the floor, just outside Metro Bank.
He suffered a serious head injuries and was taken to hospital. He has since been discharged.

Thames Valley Police have released CCTV images of two men who they believe have vital informaiton about the attack.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Christian Meichsner, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “We are releasing the images of these two men as we believe they may have information about what happened.

“We are also appealing to anyone who may have witnessed what happened to please come forward.
“We believe that a number of people who had come from Trinity nightclub may have seen what happened and we would ask for them to get in touch.
“If you recognise the men in the images, or if one of them is you please get in touch.
