JANE Avery has been an Osmonds superfan for 50 years and now she'll get to see them perform live again at the Wycombe Swan theatre.
"My first concert was at Earls Court in 1975. It was half term from school and I was sixteen. I was allowed to go as a friend also had a ticket. We went to the concert together.
"I have been a fan of the Osmonds since I was thirteen. It was Puppy Love by Donny, which started my love of the Osmonds in 1972."
Two years later, Jane then went to America on the Osmond wonder tour which was arranged by the fan club.
She said: "Through my love of the Osmonds and the music I have formed several great friendships.
"We visited Utah where they are from. We also got to see a recording of the Donny and Marie show. Afterwards several of the Osmonds came on the coaches for photos and autographs. I have also seen Donny perform Joseph in Toronto. Last December and early January, Donny was performing at the London Palladium pantomime. I was fortunate to meet him before a performance.
"I have seen the Osmonds on many occasions, including Jay and Merrill previously at the Swan."
Jane recently won Bucks Free Press' Osmond superfan competition, winning a pair of tickets to the opening night of the show at the Wycombe Swan later this month.
