A family-run fish and chip shop has closed down in High Wycombe.
Tuckin Fish & Chips on Frogmoor is no longer open for business as customers took to social media following the sudden closure.
The restaurant's opening hours on Google say that the chippy is only "temporarily closed" leaving residents wondering whether it will reopen.
Tuckin has been running for nine years on Frogmoor and prior to that, the same family-run business was open on Desborough Road.
The fish and chip shop was recently named one of the best in High Wycombe according to Tripadvisor reviews.
The chippy rated 4.5 out of five and had 49 ‘excellent’ reviews.
One customer took to Tripadvisor to share their experience: "If you like the crispy fried traditional fish and chips, you should visit the shop. Friendly staff and clean restaurant, quick service."
A mystery remains over the future of the site as no update has been provided on the shop front or on the restaurant's social media platforms.
The Bucks Free Press has approached Tuckin Fish & Chips for an update.
