A burst pipe has left people facing issues with their water supply in Aylesbury this morning (October 5).
Thames Water has found an issue with the main pipe in Heyford Hill roundabout on the Oxford Ring Road and repair teams are working to fix the problem.
This is affecting postcodes in HP18, OX1, OX2, OX3, OX4, OX9, OX10, OX14, OX33, OX44.
As such, Thames Water is running two bottled water stations where you can pick up water supplies you need.
Opening time will be between 9am and 10am at:
- Tesco in Ambassador Avenue, Oxford OX4 6XJ
- Asda in London Road, Wheatley, Oxford OX33 1YZ
Both sites will be open to vehicles as well as visitors on foot.
Thames Water workers can load water into cars.
People have been asked not to take more than is needed.
A statement said: "If you have a neighbour who’s unable to get to the site, please let us know and we’ll do our best to make sure our limited supplies are fairly handed out.
"We know how inconvenient and worrying it is not to have water and are doing all we can to get things back to normal.
"While repairs continue, the burst is affecting the flow of water into the area, and we’re doing all we can to improve this – for example, by using tankers to pump water into our network."
