Three men have been arrested on suspicion of assault, affray, and possession of an offensive weapon following an incident in Beaconsfield.
At around 2.30am on Saturday, October 1, an incident between two groups of men took place on Maxwell Road, near the town centre.
During this, a man was hit over the head with an object which is believed to be similar to a metal crowbar.

One group of men then got into a silver Audi car and drove off.
The injured man suffered a lump to his head but did not require hospital treatment.
Investigating officer PC Charlotte Wythe-Pearce, based at Amersham police station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident in the early hours of Saturday morning, or the circumstances leading up to the altercation to get in touch. What you saw or heard could prove vital to this investigation.

Following this, two men aged 20 and 25 who are both from Stoke Mandeville, and a 23-year-old man from Aylesbury have been arrested.
They have since all been released on bail.
